Location: James Taylor Park in Newport Kentucky
This park is on Riverboat Row in Newport KY at the confluence of the Ohio and Licking Rivers across from the Great American Ballpark.
Meeting location:
The meeting location is at the flagpole near the west end of the park at the confluence of the Ohio and Licking Rivers. The flagpole is at an area overlooking the two rivers. When you arrive at Riverboat Row turn left (from any street) and the flagpole will be on your right between Riverboat Row and the rivers. There is a large parking lot and a smaller parking lot after it. Great American Ballpark is directly across the Ohio River from the meeting area.

Parking Information:
There are parking lots before and after the meeting area (flagpole).
Recommended Equipment:
Any camera will work.
You should base your lens choice(s) on the subject matter of the class/workshop you are attending.
Tripods and Remote Shutter Release if you have them.
Polarizing filters can usually enhance the blue in the sky.
A flash for portrait classes and workshops
A ring-light or flash for macro workshops.
Reflectors are good for both portrait and macros classes.
Flashlight, in case it is dark before we leave.
Attire:
Dress appropriately for the weather conditions. You will be walking short distances including down a hill to the river's edge, unless this is the meeting location for a Photo Walk.
